Who We Are
The National Center for Fire and Life Safety (NCFLS) is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization serving nationally and abroad. Our mission is to reduce injury and loss of life, property and resources by developing and deploying non-traditional, innovative fire and life safety prevention training and education. Our work is through a collaborative effort of highly regarded local, state, and national organizations, emergency services professionals, and researchers recognized as some of the world’s leading authorities in fire and life safety. Together we share a collective vision for ‘a safer world’.
Our campus, soon to be constructed, will be in the Birmingham region of Alabama just 30 minutes south of downtown Birmingham in Pelham, Alabama. The campus will house our state-of-the-art adventure-like public education center called the NFPA HEROES Experience.
